Telemarketing & Lead Generation Agent

 

Full Description:

We are looking for an energetic, motivated, and dedicated telemarketing pro to join our team! Our Telemarketing Agents are responsible for growing our customer base by calling qualified businesses using a provided lead list. The position’s main responsibility is to set appointments with business owners for an in person or virtual demonstration of our merchant services and point of sale products and solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

This position is expected to perform the specific duties, tasks, and responsibilities as outlined below:

  • Actively prospecting and setting appointments with targeted business customers via lead generating activity acquired lead as well as company assigned leads
  • Consult with new clients to build report and develop needs-based recommendations of point of sale and merchant services solutions
  • Provide recommendations on value added services opportunities for additional business products and services such as financing, MCAs, payroll, and equipment leasing
  • Send emails and messages through LinkedIn to prospective clients
  • Participate in in-person and/or virtual weekly/bi-weekly sales and Q&A meetings for feedback and adjustment of strategy when necessary
  • Participate in on-going sales training on new developments in merchant services and point of sale products
  • Responsive to business customer inquiries regarding point of sale systems and merchant services
  • Be involved in performing marketing endeavors/efforts and activities related to the sales funnel

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in the Fintech Industry preferred
  • 2-5 years sales experience B2B and/or outbound call center experience
  • Must possess basic English language skills in order to speak and write clearly and effectively with prospective clients and coworkers
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
  • Ability to use the computer efficiently and the capacity to learn new software programs as they are rolled out by the company
  • Ability to set appointment with prospective clients
  • Demonstrated consultative sales skills
  • Must be able to pass a National Background Check

Other Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience using HubSpot is a plus
  • Strong rebuttal and negotiating skills are a plus
  • Must be well-organized, accurate, and attentive to detail
  • Must have strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Must be cooperative and willing to assist customers on a regular basis
  • Must have effective listening skills demonstrated by the ability to listen to others talk (without interruption), understand them, and then propose solutions or make contributions based on the points made by others
  • Must possess excellent multi-tasking skills and be able to function well under pressure
  • Must be able to remain composed under pressure and respond to customer and coworker concerns regularly
  • Must have a keen eye for detail and follow instructions to the letter
  • Must be patient and willing to help others in solving problems while always maintaining a positive attitude

Compensation & Bonuses

  • Hourly base
  • Commission based per appointment
  • Additional commission offered for closing a client on one or more services
  • Performance bonuses based on targeted monthly goals
